“Empowering Future Pharmacists through Innovation and Collaboration”

On the auspicious occasion of National Pharmacy Education Day, I extend my warmest greetings to the faculty, students, and the entire pharmaceutical fraternity of the JR Institute of Medical Sciences. Today, we honor the legacy of Prof. M.L. Schroff, whose visionary efforts transformed pharmacy from a trade into a noble profession of science and service.

This year’s theme for Pharma Anveshan, “Future Pharma Ecosystem: Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice,” is a call to action for all of us. At JRIMS, we recognize that the future of healthcare is not siloed. It belongs to those who can bridge the gap between classroom theory and industrial application, ensuring that our research translates into tangible patient care.

Our Commitment at JRIMS:

Academic Excellence: We are dedicated to providing a curriculum that meets global standards, as reflected in our recent PCI recognition for the 2026-27 session.

Hospital Integration: We are actively fostering partnerships with Healthcare leaders to provide our students with the real-world exposure needed to excel in a digital-first pharmaceutical landscape.

Research & Innovation: We encourage our students to look beyond the textbook and engage in creative problem-solving that addresses current public health challenges.

As we celebrate Pharma Anveshan, I urge our students to embrace the spirit of inquiry. The pharmacist of tomorrow is not just a dispenser of medicine, but a crucial link in the healthcare chain—an innovator, a researcher, and a patient advocate.

Let us together strive to make India a global leader in pharmaceutical excellence.
